A very atmospheric film...Puccini is the natural choice for some of the soundtrack.

Chosen by the lad in the Apple store to demonstrate why YouTube videos have not been embedding into the site (since Mozy did his update)
The lad has good taste.

Mrs Leftfoot always refers to this as "our song".......and I don't have the faintest idea whyBlush It obviously is an anniversary or a "first" of some long lost event in out past ....but I can't remember what it is, and as the years have passed I daren't ask because I know I will get the "Well...if YOU don't know..I'm not going to tell you" answer. You married men will know what I meanWink BTW Marvin Gaye was shot dead by his own father on April 1st. and I have always had a grudging admiration for his sense of humour.Shock

John Mayall is the godfather of British blues...over the last 50+ years, anybody who was anybody in Brit Rock and Blues has played with him. "The Turning Point" is a classic album featuring his band without a drummer ....what he called "blues without bashing" Whether he did it deliberately as an experiment, as I've no doubt he would claim, or just couldn't get a suitable drummer at the time, only he will be able to tell.

Saw that band at the City Hall and still have that on vinyl, plus the other one from that band: Empty Rooms. Many years later, probably in the nineties, watched him play the Ledmill, (FFS!), with a band including the superb Buddy Whittington, and he was laughing about "a bit of chucka-chucka music", before launching into a superb reading of 'California' from back then. Just as good as ever.

I also saw him at the Hippodrome in Holmfirth, two years ago. Still going strong after all this time.

We must not give opposition teams hope. We have to kill them.
