I hope he does get a decent reception if he plays, he certainly deserves it.

For all the disappointment of his form last season, I think we ought to look back on his initial loan spell and then the 2012-13 season, before he got injured I'm sure he'd have been in the running for player of that season. I wish him well in all but two fixtures this season.

Nice to read but my opinion hasn't changed in the fact that it was good business for Wednesday. He has started on fire but already there are signs of him being injured. He will miss as many games as he plays and his initial purple patch will fade away.

Good to hear him add to the ever growing positive feedback on our gaffer. I really think we have uncovered a gem in Stuart Gray.

I don't see us losing this weekend, but a win will be a big ask too. I predict 2-2.

No sentiment from me neither, he clearly didn't want to be here, life moves on, sick and tired of our fans stroking the plums of former players, if they ain't playing with an Owl on their shirt, fuck em!

she said, 'I know you boy you cannot sing', I said, 'that's nothing, you should hear me play piano'

The spirit is down to the manager [Stuart Gray] who pushes you together and makes everyone bond.

I'm always a bit skeptical of players who praise current or incoming managers but (as Laceups has already highlighted) to hear an ex-player say the exact same thing is very interesting.

Some right hardmen on here, I'm fucking terrified.

He's just blowing smoke up our arses. His body language last season said he didn't want to be here. I hope he has a complete mare tomorrow and gets substuted.

no sentiment, the interview which he did after he left was a load of bollocks too 'ready for a new challenge' haha, he'd only spent 2 seasons in the championship with us. Hope Semedo goes through him and puts him out for the season

Agree with both the above . . .

but not with this (well, not the last part) :

I have no problem with the bloke.
When he was on loan I cannot remember anyone not clamouring for the deal to be made permanent.
Football is a business and for a player a very short career. The move to Forest was a no brainer to me. They have money, potential, and until we have stability on the ownership front, must appeal to a player more than staying here. The only loyalists in football are the fans.
He seemed to lose a little enthusiasm last season, but he was played when he was injured and could not give of his best. There seems to be have been a lot of shit going on between Jones and particularly his assistant Wilkinson (not Howard), and the playing staff early last season which is just surfacing. Few players speak with any praise for those two, but many praise SG. Says it all for me.

Fuck 'em. This city will always be ours.

I always liked Antonio, he did a good job for us and I had a lot of respect for him for the promotion season. However, his time was up and we got a decent price for him so we moved him on.

It's nice to see a player talk so highly of the club, and i'll always have respect for him for the time he played for us - but not to the level where i'm singing his name whilst he's not in a Wednesday shirt.

I'm glad he's doing well at Forest because on his day he was a beast for us and he always came across as a nice bloke, i'm not going to be bitter because he's not playing for us anymore - both parties benefited from the deal, we probably wouldn't have Stevie May right now and he looks an excellent prospect.

All the best to Antonio but I hope he has a shocker this Saturday.
