Yellow Card

This is a very worthwhile charity: one that I've supported myself in the past.

I remember needing help to carry stuff from my car once into their premises at the back of the Cathedral. Two or three of the people they were helping provided the manpower. I can still remember the look in their eyes as they surreptitiously looked at me whilst taking boxfulls. Quite clearly, they couldn't believe someone (allegedly) normal was coming there to help them. It was a most humbling moment.
That resonated with me, the comment in the article about how he never expected this to happen to him: never saw it coming. None of us can imagine it, can we?

Just in passing, when I first saw this story in The Star, it was on the sidebar of the Owls' story I was reading. Looking at his picture as a small jpeg, I thought it was Connor Wickham!

We must not give opposition teams hope. We have to kill them.
