London Tower Block Ablaze, people probably trapped, People unaccounted for.

Let's hope for the best outcome, fingers crossed, but I fear not.

One of those fears whenever you go in a tall building - reading that the hoses can only go up to the 10th storey. Hope there was nothing malicious in its starting

Happy clapping for 4 years more than Emre

Just watching the scenes on the news and it looks horrific. Let's pray everyone is safe.

Just seen the news, it's horrific. People at the scene reporting they saw folks jumping from windows.
Just now. There's still a partially blind man in his flat, the water is being sprayed above his flat to keep him alive, stopping the fire spreading to his flat!

The reasoning seems to be leaning towards faulty wiring or a power surge, coupled with a warm air duct heating system and recently erected plastic cladding accelerating the speed of the blaze.

And sprinkler system failing?

Surely that should have kicked in.

Reading that fire alarms weren't going off either. Block was only refurbed a couple of years ago. Something seriously amiss across the board here

It's Ramadan at the moment which mean many Muslims will have been up late eating after dark, hopefully this will reduce the eventual death toll.
