Never been on Owlstalk other than to read the shite.

Do you think DC is doing a good job of running our club EBRA? Has any other chairman been so loaded that he's had to sell our ground and put ticket prices higher than some Prme teams on the promise that "you have to pay for the higher quality football"

Fuck him, he can have someone else's pants down but I'm glad I now view from distance.

I am not sure what running a club well means to fans any more?

I see a chairman who as explained everything he as done and why and informed us when he not going to engage with fans.

I see a chairman whose launched schemes for fans to invest in to supposedly offset expenditure of high spending on players .. none of which have achieved anything

I see spending to levels I’ve never witnessed before at SWFC .. we used cry out for that level of spending - but now we all think it’s been poorly spent

I see transfer not working out .. like i have always seen in football

I see us not selling enough players .. but I also don’t recall much of that for a decade or more and prior to that as a fan base we never wanted to be seen as selling club

I see a chairman who faces stipulation of spend levels, who carried out the same as other clubs but very poorly in end for the sake of some on time paperwork and what I deem a cultural clash... and it’s cost us 12 points!

I struggle to see a perfect owner in this league .. but I am
Regularly told ours isn’t

I walked out of Wembley saying look at how many attempts it taken most clubs to get out of this league and
with multiple playoff appearances and failures under their belt versus our 1... and I said to myself I think it’s not going to be that easy

I see a chairman who as appointed 5 managers in 5 years and been accused of waiting too long with all of them.

I see pricing structure geared towards being a season ticket holder, and that overly estimates pay on gate and walk ups- yet we’ve also had some of best gates at the stadium under this policy.

The 5 managers and waiting too long is an odd one.

Gray he fucked off when he should have kept him on as a coach.
Carlos too long
Jos was an awful appointment and waited too long
Bruce fucked him over
Monk too long

Gray wasn't interested in signing foreign players, that is why he was shown the door. I respect his coaching abilities but his management style was very dated.

Fuck 'em. This city will always be ours.

I wish the Gray era revisionism would stop .. I remember people being very vocal about the style of play and talk of not renewing and dwindling crowds. Such a great managers no other great chairman took a chance on him!

Carlos too long .. that’s the biggest debate.

As for Jos DC lined up Brice earlier than we all knew .. the delay was less DC more availability of a good manager ..

Monk .. all about a chance with his own team... can see DC keeping him untill Xmas.

With Paul Cook available DC should pull the trigger now and go get him.

For me, Gray should never have been made manager. He was a very good defensive coach.

He did very well with the players available to him, despite the style.

We must not give opposition teams hope. We have to kill them.
