Couldn't decide if he was unlucky with some of the non-free kicks he felt he should have had or he was simply to lightweight when challenged for the ball last night, I can't recall them showing any replays of those situations to have a better look.

He was unlucky with a few, pigs just had to flap their arms and they got free kicks. Ref was too one-sided

I think the ref had a very good game all things considered. He got the pen wrong for me and the free kick at the end but other than that he did well. Certainly one of the better ones I’ve seen us have.

He was very quick to blow for “fouls” on them but didn’t see owt the other way. Not the worst we’ve seen but wasn’t even with his decisions

He wasn't one of the usual terrible ones but did fall for a lot of their swan dives with pike and tuck stuff. In contrast we got nowt for their assaults. See that one when Tom Lees looked to have got poked in the eye or something and went down instantly holding his face? The twat let them launch an attack when there'd been no danger. Tom had won the ball before the hand in the face put him down, and he's certainly no diver. When we'd repelled the attack and silenced the Orcs again, Lees had a right go at the ref.

We must not give opposition teams hope. We have to kill them.

I don think the ref was the worst, I thought he was OK. I thought it was a pen even if a little on the soft side and Duffy went down very theatrically. Just felt there were times the ref was inconsistent on the cards as well.

Thought the ref was ok. Penalty was soft but just about right. Definite free kick at the end though.

Doesn't have to be even, just correct. Far too many fouls given in the modern era, not helped by players throwing themselves all over the place and ignorant fans screaming for anything and everything.

Refs do need to stop being conned though. Cheating bastards given a straight red and an automatic four match ban, without pay. We'll soon see how quick the c**ts are to topple over at the slightest brush Smile

The shirt grabbing and blatant holding at corners is totally disregarded by referees, anywhere else in the pitch it's a foul, United did this in both boxes.

When I said even, I didn’t mean give us the same amount. It was meant as be more consistent and equal to both teams. If he gives a free kick for a barge on one player don’t ignore the same or worse when it’s the other team.
