I take no pleasure knowing families livelihoods and homes maybe at risk a few weeks before christmas.

Not a time to gloat IMO, there'll be some good people worrying about how they'll pay the rent in January. Doubt most are on anything like mega money.

I think the majority will own their own homes, if in fact you're referring to their housing costs.

Seriously.

Perhaps if the Stir had actually employed journalists - not social media churners ; had developed a readable click bait free website; and weren't so virulently anti Wednesday then I'd have a modicum of sympathy.

Brought it on themselves, not been worth reading since Richard Fidler left.

The Group as a whole has £220m worth of debt and they basically can't give the company away as that debt is repayable next summer. Biggest problem is its a dying business model

Lucky if you can even get star website to load, if it does some big banner pops up. If you're unlucky enough to get past them you get an article.

The Pension Protection Fund said it had “concerns” over a rescue deal for Johnston Press that would enable the ailing newspaper publisher to hive off its pensions liabilities to the industry lifeboat fund. The fund is preparing to assess the scheme after a weekend deal known as a pre-pack administration, which allowed Johnston Press to shed its pension liabilities as part of a sale to its creditors. The PPF has estimated the scheme’s deficit at £109m.The PPF is concerned that the administration took place 48 hours before the company was due to make a scheduled contribution to the pension scheme, according to people with knowledge of the process. It is also looking at whether assets within the Johnston group were marketed appropriately as part of the administration. “We have concerns surrounding the circumstances of this pre-pack administration,” said a PPF spokesperson.“We will continue to work closely with the Pensions Regulator and the company administrator to ensure the best outcome for the PPF and our levy payers.“We want to reassure members of the Johnston Press Pension Plan that their benefits are protected by the PPF at what must be an unsettling time for them.”The PPF said it had raised its concerns with the regulator.

The person whos name is against that report has apparently sat in at the star this week.

Followed him on twitter for a while as he did match reports etc and now he does match day commentary radio for one of the local hospitals.

Suprised he has made that error unless he wrote it but didnt upload the final piece.

I suggest readers complain over these constantly awful articles in the Star as I have done.

'Let's set up a go fund me page' - Sheffield Wednesday fans react to rumours linking Atdhe Nuhiu with a move away from Hillsborough

This was the bold title of an article ‘written’ & published in the Star by the top football journalist Nancy Frostic on the back of a comment by a fan on social media. Regardless of your opinion of Nuhiu I found this article completely disrespectful and I emailed her and told her so, received no reply.

Most of the stuff their sports desk publishes these days isn’t even news, it’s simply opinion on social media that they upload.

What a sad demise of a once great paper.

Keep emailing the editor and reporter to complain is my message.

Could be do to the reporters, the ginner who reports on them writes Wildboars book and is up his arse. He is a member of their forums and is a Blaaaade, never in a million years is he going to be writing anything other than owt positive. The other one also is one of them.
We have Doom.
I’ve contacted The Stir a few times, when I did get a reply they said they treat both clubs equally Erm
An interesting point I got from the editor (about this time last year) was her intimating that Wednesday rarely do any press conferences and aren’t as media friendly.

Now I'm no lawyer but good luck applying this.

Where's his 'Chansiri' to place a trademark against?

Equally, I assume that the Intellectual Property Right of Wednesday by putting it on a shirt usurps any old rubbish argument the pig may profer.

I recall that American piece of nonsense, the WWF trying to bully the panda loving WWF who had been around and used the initials for yonks and being pistol whipped in court.

Hope the c**t gets jailed for maintaining a spurious claim.

Also, if I were he, I'd be watching my back now when one of the massive finds out his address. Not that ever condone kicking the shit out of an obsessed, unclean piece of aresewipe.

Trademark is a waste of time. He's only got the UK one. It's the dot-com that holds the sway, as they always say on Dragons Den
