Think the worst match thread in the history of match threads sums this game up.

Well that is one I don't regret missing

And not going to bother with the replay either.

Huge issue is our midfield, where we need to strengthen. Boyd and Pessy basically anonymous in the 2nd half. Too many Hollywood balls attempted by Bannan because he has no options. Too immobile upfront.

Saying that at least it does not give a false impression for the new management team

Happy clapping for 4 years more than Emre

Well done Agnew and Clemence. Utter shite. So much for Bullen being mediocre.

We don't possess one player who has the trickery to take a man on. Whenever anyone is confronted by a defender it's always a back pass.

Blimey, taking it serious then. I’m pleased about that.

That was the theory...in practice, however., it appeared that the players thought winning the game using the minimum possible effort and thought was the appropriate approach today. A very Jos-like performance, i.e. rubbish.

I ask you will Galway bate Mayo? Not if they have Willie Joe...they haven't a hope of beating Mayo!

Why? They didn’t pay for it, pretty sure if they weren’t Wednesday or Luton and not happy they would have switched over. Have any of them contacted you personally about their upset?

Just got back. Pretty awful and there would have been a lot of booing had Jos been in charge of the team following that performance.

Oh well, at least we’ve lost our 2 best CMs now too.

Well I watched on a stream and it was depressingly too like Jos days.

It smacked of 5 games in 14 days though, so whilst picking a strong side was commendable it actually backfired for me. Lack of energy but I also think a bit of complacency.

However I don't think a bog standard display - where we don't lose - does any harm as it ain't papered over where we know the cracks are

I see where someone has blamed the midfield for our pathetic performance today. Surely, it was Jos's fault?
