I see where someone has blamed the midfield for our pathetic performance today. Surely, it was Jos's fault?

TommyCraig6, 05/01/2019 at 18:24

No he is no longer the manager

I did consider the midfield to be missing today. Too much individual play when we do finally do a bit of pass and move we look fairly dangerous. However it becomes too easy to send a long ball to Fletcher instead

It was poor, but I think the last four appearances mean there's a bit of credit in the bank, and we can forgive it; provided of course that it proves to be a one-off.

Tell mi mam, mi mam, I don't want no tea, no tea, I'm watching the Wednesday, tell mi mam, mi mam

Just got back. Pretty awful and there would have been a lot of booing had Jos been in charge of the team following that performance.

Oh well, at least we’ve lost our 2 best CMs now too.

Has anything been said by the club about Hutch and Bannan's injuries?

I ask you will Galway bate Mayo? Not if they have Willie Joe...they haven't a hope of beating Mayo!

Said Hutchinson was a bit of a groin and Bannan was a whack and not as bad as first thought but will wait until medical team have assessed them

Have they said anything about the injuries that Joao and Onomah sustained at 'Boro? I don't recall hearing anything since then.

Josh needed a scan in Leeds but the scanner broke and it was put back a day or so.

João was supposed to be in contention for yesterday.

Well done Agnew and Clemence. Utter shite. So much for Bullen being mediocre.

We don't possess one player who has the trickery to take a man on. Whenever anyone is confronted by a defender it's always a back pass.
TommyCraig6, 05/01/2019 at 15:48

I can think of plenty of occasions where Reach in particular, Bannan and Matias have gone past opposition players. Can't comment on yesterday's games because I didn't go.

Problem is the lack of movement around the player in possession at times.

On occasion it does happen and invariably we create half decent chances. Lack of legs in the 2nd half just meant reverting to the diagonal ball to Fletcher from 30 or 40 yards away.

Nothing could make me go to the replay.

Luton is an absolute shitehole.

Listening to their throwbacks on their big day out made me fucking smile, weird scruffy bastards
