Is this Bruce making his mark across the club or have I missed something?

2017/18, this is our time.

Can’t open link for some reason, her choice or a mutual thing?

Sheffield Wednesday’s Chief Executive Officer Katrien Meire has left Hillsborough.

She told swfc.co.uk: “Since joining Sheffield Wednesday in January 2018, I felt a warm welcome from everyone at the club and the fans at games and around the city.

“I would like to wish the chairman, the staff and players at the club all the very best. With new manager Steve Bruce in charge and the fantastic support of our amazing fans, the club’s journey to the Premier League has never looked any better.”

Sheffield Wednesday would like to thank Katrien for her passion and dedication to the club and wish her the very best for the future.

Be water, my friend

Really can't see any input by SB into this type of decision

Who knows the background, not like it hasn't happened with others

Happy clapping for 4 years more than Emre

Definitely seems to be a trend of Chansiri showing loyalty (too much) to his manager / head coach, but anyone on the commercial/business side does well to last 12 months. Can't image he's a difficult chap to work for.

With Bruce saying he wants to verify incomings and outgoings then less room for the likes of Doyen's influence and the need to control such things.

Oh Aston Villa, you really couldn't afford that ref

I get the feeling DC realises Doyen were a bollock dropped, new manager, new broom, kick on for 19/20 season!

Just hope those fuckers don’t go up!

Wasn't her brief (oh, missus) to get rid of Doyen?

Or was she one of them?

I get confused

I’m a bit meh about this.

Some issues of the previous year were resolved last year which she would have had a role in. But, then the whole embargo happened on her watch. We are still in a bad way commercially, and the club seems to be struggling to come up with ways to generate revenue that doesn’t involve supporters doubling there own investment.

However, she has deffo done a good job in terms of the community and supporter engagement side of the club.

Absolutely no idea what this signifies. She came with a horrendous reputation from Charlton, and although she didn’t really make the same mistakes here, I’m also not really seeing much evidence of her doing that great a job. I also don’t see how she could avoid any blame whatsoever for the George Hirst fiasco. File this under ‘whatver’ and move on.

History will see she was employed by the club prior to “Jos the Loss” appointment and her departure will be seen as after “Jos the Loss” sacking. Abject failure on her part coupled with “rudderless ship” until DC arrived back in Sheffield to sort things out.

Let’s hope we now get a CEO we crave for.

Wasn't that the issue though? She was supposed to be the CEO, but her actual duties and achievements appeared to be what you'd expect from a Commercial Manager.

I ask you will Galway bate Mayo? Not if they have Willie Joe...they haven't a hope of beating Mayo!
