If we posted them to arrive for the 31st July then I wouldn't expect to see them on Companies House this week. They were working about 7 - 10 days behind which is fairly routine anyway - so they might not be late as yet

Even if they do end up being late i really don't know why people get so worked up about it

Well yep.

I also think the auditor wouldn't sign them until the case result was released - I think which league we are in and 6m in TV revenues at stake may just be a going concern review point !

Apparently they were delayed due to the hearing and EFL supposedly OK with it.

Fuck 'em. This city will always be ours.

We still do in certain situations file by post. Slightly more involved accounts in particular or erm when we can't find the Co House authentication code Bigsmile

The Wednesday accounts were posted last year because they have the scanning bar code on them and the giveaway is a pencil scribble saying Companies House in the top corner.

Have to disagree there Tank. The long and the short of it is that the EFL decided to have a right go at SWFC and it's owner Mr Chansiri. We don't know the motivation behind that but we can all speculate.

Under legal advice they then dropped the personal charges against Mr Chansiri and his fellow directors. Now it's been found that SWFC did not "act in bad faith in it's dealings with the EFL" which was the other main plank of their argument.

The only thing they had left is a difference of opinion of when the sale could have been included in the accounts. As someone has pointed out there are several accountants on here who all say there is no hard and fast rules in accountancy, it's largely about opinions. So I think SWFC accountants and auditor who signed the accounts off will have something to say about that.

This has all the hallmarks of a vexatious prosecution and there's no way Mr Chansiri will take this on the chin when his integrity has been called into question. He will appeal and most likely win.

This.

I don’t think anyone is blindly backing DC as some sort of contrary argument to those that clearly want him out, for the reasons CDLF points out, this smacks of a witch hunt by the EFL and it’s aimed at SWFC, not DC directly, but the club we all support, I cannot fathom why everyone is attacking DC....it has been proved that he and the club “did not act in bad faith”.

I would not trust the EFL to sit down without missing the chair, set of unfit for purpose clowns.

It’s down to you now Garry!!! OH, AND FUCK THE EFL!!!!

Apologies, more Kieran Maguire...but actually seems to be saying something positive(ish) about us for once.

I ask you will Galway bate Mayo? Not if they have Willie Joe...they haven't a hope of beating Mayo!
