The issue of course is that the season ticket monies for this season were long spent, propping up cash flow last season.

But with no money coming in you have to somehow fund current costs and the refund. Double whammy

It will stretch the credit lines for sure

Be interesting to see the impact on FFP of the rebate.

The club would have banked the cash and factored the income in for their projections and then both have been taken from them.

Parry already getting a semi?

I'm on about last season. The refund has to be accounted for somewhere either as a statutory adjustment or within this season's numbers.

Parry will be rock hard, as I'm sure the all Championship clubs will be struggling with FFP due to this pandemic.

Fairly simple I would have thought

Dr Revenue
Cr Liabilities

Adjusted in the accounts to 31st July 2020

The current year season tickets leave in deferred revenue - until it gets utilised down the line

The point being DR revenue = increase losses

True - FFP cannot really apply for 2019/20

There is a way round this for the clubs. They all break FFP then the EFL has a decision to make. We all start on -12 or they scrap FFP and set the precident for years to come
