I'm putting my right leg in

to my lucky underpants before setting off to see the mighty blue and white crab passers try to earn another 3 points in our battle for survival when we're walloped with a 96 point deduction from the scouse overlord at the EFL.

I'm also hoping to see less of Bully before the end of the year.

I don't think we'll see Fernando again.

Well done Bannan for sticking the knife in.

Under Jos Westwood only trained twice a week but Jos got the blame for not picking him.

Good line up and the right choice by Monk.

Mad that Lee and Lunogo can’t get a look in though. Some good strength in depth.

Brentford have been impressive tbh, not giving us any time on the ball and look quick when they win the ball back.

Never a corner for their goal though.

We need to change things either with subs or a change of approach because we haven't been in this game at all.

We will p*ss it

They have been the best side I’ve seen this season.

But, we are playing at zero tempo and Nuhiu in particular has been awful today. Bannan has been poor too, they’ve not let him play, but he’s stood still.

Oddly, upping the tempo by 15% would see us create.

Much better second half. That's a very decent 3 points, they're a decent side on a good run.

2 wins on the bounce and back in the top 6.

Well done Wednesday, get in there!

We will p*ss it

Very good win that, I rate Brentford. Sky says we dominated and deserved that win. Monk is slowly building something here...

DLO: Harder than Tony Toms & fitter than Roger Spry

One question. What's happened to FF, is he injured?

This is the last time I'm painting on a grin.

Enjoyed that well the 2nd 45 mins if not the first.

It showed the overriding issue we have - play 4 4 2 we can get over run in midfield especially if we are not firing - but 4 5 1 leaves us limp upfront.

However Nuhiu with Fletcher is so immobile and get no service when up against a good pass and move team.

So pleased that Rhodes coming on changed the dynamic and gave their defence more to think about.

One of the strangest penalties though, he basically caught it and should it have been a red

Really feared we would concede at the end but that is good confidence wise to not

Happy clapping for 4 years more than Emre

If we play 4-4-2 with Fletcher and Nuhiu up front we need a lot from the wide players. Wasn’t happening at all for either of them first half. Rhodes gave us more legs up front and linked play better and we started looking better balanced. Hutch and Fletch were immense today.

One thing that is a bit of a gripe is Borner not starting. Is he not quite 100% still? Our defensive organisation is definitely not up to the same standard without him.
