Wonder how much Poundland has borrowed to have signed over all Premier League monies from October 19 to November 20 to pay off the loan.

The package to pay of McSue was valued around £75m all in wasn't it?

And a year's worth of PL money has been signed over to pay it off?

They already had a credit line with Maquarie to pay for transfers and all those pesky contracts that went through the roof on promotion

Not an optimistic view about how soon sport can start again. If it's correct, the financial impacts on football and all other sports will be devastating.
I presume football clubs, county cricket clubs etc. will be able to avail themselves of the Governments business support handout announced last week? Think they'll need it... especially if Sky, BT, Amazon etc refuse to pay any more and/or want refunding.

I ask you will Galway bate Mayo? Not if they have Willie Joe...they haven't a hope of beating Mayo!

In practical terms, for a football match to be played, with or without crowds, it still needs a certain amount of outsiders, paramedics, doctors, police etc and is the game so important that those people shouldn't be at hospitals or on other critical duties.
