“September being the latest elections could be held within Society rules”

So why pick the latest?

I will be a more friendly voice

If they can keep the egos out of it and stick to the core aims of being a Trust - that is not thinking you have any right to be heard by the Club on non fan matters and even then that is limited (don't think you have a say on ticket prices) you might stand a chance.

Saying that I will always be a supporter of an English version of the German system.

Might stop some of the financial nonsense and dodgy owners eg Wigan, Bury if we did

The other recommendation - don't make yourself out to be the voice of the fans or go into the media saying you are. You are simply the voice of the members of the Trust

Final recommendation work with the club, don't throw your dummies out the pram if you don't. Never order black balloons

Happy clapping for 4 years more than Emre

Rebels without a mandate. Give it up FFS, we've heard it all before. Cringeworthy gimps looking for fame.

Or genuine lifelong fans who are fed up with the current state of the club?

I won't be getting involved but comments from you and your friends cannot be described as constructive criticism but I wouldn't expect anything else. Some comments however are constructive in their criticism. I'll accept that previous administrations at Hillsborough have been worthy of criticism but somehow you believe this chairman is bulletproof. I have always believed that the guy at the top should take responsibility but that's where we differ. You'll blame the workforce. Difference between capitalism and socialism as one of your friends pointed out to me.

All I know is that I'll be supporting the team I love home and away until my health prevents me. (Whoever is chairman and manager) I also know I'm lucky to afford to do that.

Ayup Tommy, it's always good to hear a different take on reality.

The Chairman is bulletproof because he own the club lock stock and barrel. Thumbsup Professor Plum is not my mate, I don't know him from Adam Plain and please don't keep bringing politics into every thread. Ninja

I believe it was you who mentioned capitalism and socialism in a comment directed at me a few days ago. A bit rich telling me not to bring politics into it?

It's precisely the fact what you point out about the chairman that has always worried me. No accountability!

Both sides to this are correct to be fair.

Chansiri owns the club. Lock, stock and barrel. He can do what the fuck he wants when he wants and if he wants.

That doesn't make him immune to criticism from the fans.

True, but also means those criticising need to calm down a bit and be rational, and need to be very careful what they wish for.

I see people on Twitter saying Chansiri needs to ‘go’ as if he was a manager we can sack. Such ignorance would be funny if it wasn’t so prevalent.

Whether it’s a good thing for an individual to have all the shares and be sole director in the club is a different matter, but whilst that is the case we are stuck with him like it or not. So might as well try and get behind the bloke as he wants the same as what we all do at the end of the day.

Lifelong fans wanting a bit of fame more like, clear and simple, right on the backs of silly fuckers like you. I take it you've took their shilling then have you? Fully paid up member are you?
Why do you have to make everything so personal?Bigsmile
As for you loving the club? That's just impossible for you, communism and love are incompatible, thought you'd have been fully briefed on that during your indoctrination.
If you want to hurt the chairman, don't buy his tickets, that's capitalism for you.Bigsmile

“The cost of membership is based on what was most popular in our recent fans’ surveys”

So instead of having an idea of how many members they might probably get and how much money they would need and working out how much the membership would need to be they decide to go with what the public “picked”.

I can’t find the question but probably a classic case of giving the people a choice of what they want the answer to be and letting the people think they picked it.

Like forcing a card on someone in a card trick.
