Undervalued, unheard, taken for granted – What Sheffield Wednesday survey means for supporters.

That's the Star's headline on the Survey results.
HoylandOwl, 13/06/2020 at 10:08

Why hasn’t that Crann fella come on here to gauge a wider view of the feelings of Wednesday fans? That headline should basically say “Thick as fuck, stay at home, casually racist - Yer typical Owlstalk gimp”.

It’s down to you now Garry!!! OH, AND FUCK THE EFL!!!!

Antagonising our main source of cash during a financial meltdown, great idea.

I noticed that myself, pretty sure that was meant to deceive.

...but yes this is Tom Hocking posting now.

... We’ve since received offers of help from people with more experience in surveys and data collection, so hopefully the second one won’t receive that criticism, whether it was valid or not – please fill it in and give us feedback, we are always looking to improve the Trust’s work.

...We will obviously correct factual errors, though.
SWFCTrust, 12/06/2020 at 12:06

Tom's Twitter response to the incorrect scaling of the second survey
You're right, it's a poor scale. Human error by me when incorporating late suggestions while doing million other things. Tried to make it clear what the scale is but obv will approach those results with a pinch of salt when analysing. Other questions still key to gathering ideas

Take those results with a pinch of salt???
Surely that jeopardizes the whole set of results.
You can't second guess or take with a pinch of salt the results of those questions.

You tell us you've got help from people more experienced in surveys and data collection.

It's just another fuck up and you're not exactly endearing yourselves

If he's too busy doing a million and one other things to do a survey properly then why did he put himself forward?

Destined to be decisive before it's started.

I thought the comment was just humour, but it appears it is true. If people don't fully understand the scale how can you comment accurarelyBigsmileUm

Got bored at work so went on their site as they'd gone awol.

Apparently they've had a 'very successful' Zoom call with Chansiri who 'reaffirmed his desire to interact with the fans positively' and it was agreed they'd meet on a regular basis to discuss issues the Trusts membership brought up.

Not bad to say it's still just the six of them and they've not launched the membership yet.

They've also passed a motion, amongst themselves, not to hold committee/board elections until September 2021.
No surprise really, as it's their gang and they don't want to lose control.

They've had the second survey back about a month but still need more time to dissect the results.
It's obviously not given them the answers they wanted to see.

And they've decided not to hit the forums again until they have a communication strategy in place.
They got mauled on Stalk as well as here and don't fancy that kind of interaction again.
Bless em

And they're going to publish a response to the EFL judgement once it's out.
Can't wait for that one

Chansiri always said he would meet the fans if they wanted to meet him ...

Chansiri won’t be controlled by the fans though.

At best we can hope he is guided ... oh wait remember when we wanted a big signing like Rhodes, doesn’t work and them everyone claims they never wanted him! Lol
