The decision not to sell FF was stupid. As soon as he pulled that stunt at the Norwich match I’d have cashed in for as much as possible. There are many lines a footballer can cross, but refusing to play isn’t one. Wanker, in my opinion.

To be fair most of the current lot look to have refused to play this season.

Which all happened after we'd told Newcastle he wasn't for sale and they'd turned their attention elsewhere... signing Dwight Gayle iirc?!

Newcastle had just been relegated and were favourites for the title. We'd just lost the play off final and were third or fourth favourites, would have been madness to sell them our best player.

As I said, hindsight is a wonderful thing...

Seems a lot are offended by a chansiri, many don’t trust foreign owners and after the last week understandable. Regarding swfc I feel c***nts like this dislike it because ......... their just foreign.

Steve Spencer. SS. Say no more.
No problem with nationality of owners as long as they are not doing a franchise operation. Worryingly, people who invest and know Jack Shit about football does not help.
Fans involvement in ownership is an idea but looking at the fuck wits on other Wednesday fan sites is not supportive of this.

Fuck 'em. This city will always be ours, but the club SADLY won't.

Thing is the fans involvement in ownership is not in the sense of buying shares etc.

The fans are the Club

The Club has 50 + 1 voting control

So the day to day decisions are still undertaken by a Board of Directors, which would be appointed by the Club / external investors.

Fans do not run the club at an operational level.

Just need to.open your mind, but equally close off the Wednesdayite world. Done properly the 50 + 1 methodology the question would be why was it not always like this

Happy clapping for 4 years more than Emre

Cheers MK, some people have also said being bummed by two fat cocks and a fist is really enjoyable, know what, I'll pass on that as well.

I have no issue whatsoever people discussing things on a podcast at all. It's what they're there for.

What I do object to is 'news' outlets using other fan opinion as news.
Lazy lazy lazy.

Owls midfielder Joey Pelupessy has attracted interest from clubs across the continent, including here in the Championship, in his homeland in Holland and in Turkey.

Now a report in the Dutch media has suggested that the 27-year-old is of specific interest to top-half Eredivisie side FC Groningen, citing the Dutchman’s management as their source.

Pelupessy has split opinion among Wednesday fans since his arrival under Jos Luhukay in 2018. He has made 41 appearances in a Wednesday shirt in what many have said is his best season in England.
