Oh well, just missed out with Harry Higgs at 66/1, he came second 2 shots behind Stewart Cink. He's having a couple of weeks off now but I'm pretty sure he'll win one, keep your eye on him. I had him each way so will probably get £3-55 back but this doesn't cover the bets I had but every little helps.

Edit- Does anyone do like I do and have strange bets to keep your bookies account balanced. Well, I did with Harry Higgs, I didn't have 25p E/W on him, I had 16p E/W on him FFS, returned £2-27, story of my fucking life.Bigsmile

Get your bets on, it's US Open week, starts Thursday 17th Sept. Skybet paying first 11 on each way bets at one fifth of the odds up until the first tee off. Don't miss out, I've gone with,

Danny Lee 300/1
Brian Harman 175/1
Gary Woodland 60/1
Webb Simpson 22/1
Xander Schauffele 12/1
Tony Finau 28/1
Marc Leishman 150/1
Kevin Na 150/1
Bernd Wiesberger 150/1
Tyrrell Hatton 33/1
Justin Thomas 12/1

I say I've gone with but the fact is I've only picked the bottom 6, missus picked the top 5. The mammoth bets of 25p E/W on each.

I know mate, I don't take my betting too seriously to be honest, just love to dabble.

Betfair and Novibet have had some cracking deals out over the last week.

Betfair Sportsbook - bet £20 on Premier League game at odds over 1.5 and get £20 on settlement.
Novibet - bet £30 on Premier League at over 1.7 and get £10 fb on settlement.

Hoping they repeat something like that this weekend, but Betfair would normally have the offer up by now if they were doing it.

If anyone has a PaddyPower account it's worth checking pm on Friday or am Saturday as they sometimes lob free £5 footy or horse racing bets on, you just have to spot it in promotions and opt in.

Of course there are cracks, that's how the light gets in.

I did have a few golf bets last week but forgot to post them, no winners amongst them anyway. This week bets are as follows, 25p e/w on each but I have a feeling Christian Bezuidenhout will be up there at the finish.

Scottish Open
Justin Harding 70/1
Garrick Higgo 80/1
Eddie Pepperell 100/1
Sam Horsfield 33/1
Adrian Otaegui 90/1
Christian Bezuidenhout 33/1

Sanderson Farms
Keegan Bradley 100/1
Si Woo Kim 50/1
Charley Hoffman 60/1
Ben An 28/1

Showed a small but welcome profit on the golf this week. Nothing in Europe but Keegan Bradley was 4th and Charley Hoffman 6th in the US. Odds were reduced for Hoffman though as he shared 6th place with about 6 others. Friday night I thought they were destined for 1st and 2nd, oh well.

BMW from Wentworth next up in Europe and the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open. Both great tournaments, especially the BMW great to watch. Both start on the 8th and should finish on the 11th all being well. Not sure where the Shriners is though, i'll have to check it out, makes a world of difference with the times. I prefer them on the west coast for the later finish as i'm a bit of a night Owl.OwlBigsmile

Edit- The Shriners is in Las Vegas which I think is 8 hrs behind us so well happy with that. Means I can watch the late footy games and then just roll into the golf.Bigsmile

This weeks golfing bets. In Las Vegas at the Shriners I get the feeling I'm just betting for a place as Dechambeau is just too powerful for the yanks courses. When he misses the fairways and gets in trouble in heavy rough he's just too strong and he slices the club through whatever rough he's in, raw power and with some of the big names missing he looks a certainty.

Shriners Childrens Hospital Open
Si Woo Kim 80/1
Cameron Davis 66/1
Harris English 25/1
Webb Simpson 10/1
Tony Finau 16/1
Bryson Dechambeau to win by 4 or more 25/1

I fancy Bezuidenhout to win one before the spring, maybe when the European Tour moves to play in his native South Africa but maybe in Mauritius, that's it, lump on him when they play the Mauritius Open.

BMW at Wentworth
Branden Grace 55/1
Lucas Herbert 33/1
Eddie Pepperell 80/1
Adrian Otaegui 125/1
Christiaan Bezuidenhout 35/1

A massive 25p E/W on all the bets except for the Dechambeau bet where I had a spare 29p on the nose of the beast that is Dechambeau. Watch him on Sunday night if you're about although I expect it'll finish between midnight and 01-00 Monday morning. He'll be there or thereabouts, fuckin animal.
