A player quick off the mark there then saying they haven't had expected pay for June.

If its players where the contract expired today then under EFL rules if they have not signed a contract elsewhere there is effectively a one month notice period.

Could be as simple as that the Club will honour the contract when it pays the notice period pay. And that maybe 31st July

It does smack of a disgruntled former employee.

The other explanation is that end of season bonuses are probably always paid in June, calculated when erm the season has actually ended

Slight issue when the season has not actually ended

Not telling us anything that wasn't discussed when the last accounts were released. And stated in the auditors report that we are reliant on continued funding from DC - well knock me down with a feather that was the case

Both clubs major debt is to their owners or subsidiary company, be like kicking yourself in the bollocks.

An interesting one for us bean counters is the Pula sport loan at Bristol City, looks like forward sold income, not an issue usually but the company is shrouded in mystery

If anyone is interested Gibson O'Neill have just released their latest accounts.
For the uninitiated of us it looks like a £44m pre tax profit (up £12m) on previous year and most of it coming from the haulage side.
The football club picked up a £15m dividend.

Joe Baker doesn't come anywhere near a great centre forward. Try Bronco, How many times did Baker score 30 in a season?
Quite honestly, I wish he had signed. He'd only have followed Catterick to Everton. Just have a look at that team again that finished runners up. We've never done that since!!!

He'd have done a bit better than Bronco from 1962 onwards...

Arsenal
Baker recovered from his injuries and he returned to the UK in July 1962, joining Billy Wright's Arsenal for a club record fee of £70,000.[3] He made his debut against Leyton Orient on 18 August 1962, and in all spent four seasons with the Gunners. For three out of those four seasons (1962–63, 1964–65 and 1965–66) he was the club's top scorer; in total he scored 100 goals in 156 games in all competitions, making him one of the club's most prolific goalscorers of all time.

His pace and acceleration made him a highly effective and dynamic attacker, and he was equally adept with his feet and his head, despite his lack of height. With Geoff Strong he formed one of Arsenal's most prolific striking partnerships, but Arsenal's defence could not match the quality of their attack, which meant they were unable to finish above 7th in the league during his time at the club.[3]

TBH in these days of mercenaries and journeymen the likes of Hutch, Lee even Nuhui and a few others, any player staying longer than 3 or 4 years at a club seems quite rare.

Hutch seemed genuine in his interview about his time here and it's not the first time we've heard ex players say how much they've enjoyed it even when it's not been the best of time, so I'm sure there will be plenty that will be loyal, we just can't expect every player to be.

I was hoping/ thinking Fletch might be one of those players but I suspect it might have been what we were offering wages wise and he might be thinking he can get a longer deal. I just think he was a player that could do a job like Murray did at Brighton

Did you look that up on the back of one of your cigarette card?

Keith Ellis's record is a goal every other game! Was he a great centre forward?
