I bet he fucking is Ty, that's my point. Remove the word Wigan and replace it with JJB sports and you've pretty much got exactly the same story.

Sold a business he supposedly loves to someone he 'trusts' (for a massive profit), this trustworthy party runs the business into the ground. Whelan swoops in and picks up the pieces (at a massively knocked down price)...you couldn't make it up (twice)

I get what you're saying, Otto, but Wigan's football debt is roughly twice what he got when he sold it and he'd still have to buy the club first.

Unless he's got a few sovs placed with a Philippines bookie

I can honestly say I've never watched it. Football dramas are ok up to a point but I find the 'match action' is just so fake.

I was surprised to see Mr. Reesh mention that Carbone's goal at Blackburn was used as footage. If I'd known they were using proper action, I might've been a tad more interested!

It was cheesy as hell, but addictive.

If it wasn't bad enough without having Lisa Nandy and Andy Burnham on your side

I've got a weird crush on Lisa Nandy, not sure why either as she's about as far away from any type I have as you could probably get

Luton Town chairman gives the EFL, the FA and most other football club owners a shellacking on the matter. Makes some fair points...

I ask you will Galway bate Mayo? Not if they have Willie Joe...they haven't a hope of beating Mayo!

He does make valid points - and I would expand upon the situation that fans are to blame because we are happy to turn a blind eye to the self serving where our club appears to gain an advantage.

Its not a criticism but substitute any club not SWFC into the EFL charge we would be demanding a 21 points deduction etc

Instead we argue that the EFL are not fit for purpose, the rules are a sham, owners should be able to spend what they choose - Fuck the EFL

That may be true but so also is the first point

Bottom line - literally - there are far too many people making a decent living feeding off the bottom to whistle blow on those creaming the top.

Happy clapping for 4 years more than Emre

Alan Nixon is reporting there will be a player sale at Wigan in the next 24 hours to fund player's wages being paid!

Wigan appealing their 12 point penalty:

Can't have it both ways, can't be a conspiracy and a force majeure
