So, it's the last one of the season then....

Once things start appearing we'll put stuff in here. But in the meantime....

Score predictions?

Think we will steamroller Colins boys.

Fletch will be a warrior leading the line with Fernando buzzing round him. Hutch dominating as the middle of 3 Centre Backs and Westwood bossing the area.

Errrrr...... Nurse...!!

Don't like Colin's teams.
Colin likes to put one over us.
Monk hasn't a clue.
Owls ? Pubehead FC 2

1-2. They're as crap as we are, but like us they're a better team away from home.

I ask you will Galway bate Mayo? Not if they have Willie Joe...they haven't a hope of beating Mayo!

It's a football match. No more no less, at a time when there are more important things to be thinking about and taking care of. The competition isn't the same as it was before it was suspended.

I've watched most of our games and will most likely watch this one for the simple reason its something else to do that isn't watching the drivel on the TV that we are being served up at present and I'll probably have done my exercise for the day so won't be able to distract myself with that!

Colin has this knack of putting one over on us when it matters for us more than him, so bc he has something he needs out of this, probably a draw, I'm going for 1-1, so long as we score first Blink

Its a match where the losing side might get relegated and the winning side could get relegated but neither can currently be be relegated unless a club that gets relegated no longer gets relegated thus relegating them. Or both the winning side and losing side could both be relegated

My mind goes back to the match at Hillsborough a few years ago. Middlesbrough won but both managers (coaches?) lost their jobs (Carlos and Monk).

Could a repeat be òn the cards? Monk's team wins but both he and Colin are relieved of their duties...

Bit of a strange vibe about this

End of term feel but not knowing what class you are going to be in next
Lots of kids leaving school for ever
But the head of year is probably staying
And the headmaster - well no one has seen him since last year. As he sold the school buildings again

Its July - we should be having wild unfounded ambitions about promotion, then next minute fear relegation as we lose 3-0 to a non league side in a friendly. Get excited that the new kit will be out in 4 months sort of thing, complain that Sky have moved 3 games already, slag off the new signings before they have kicked a ball.

Normally the door closes on the season - but come 9.30pm tonight it is still wedged open ready to be slammed into our face

Happy clapping for 4 years more than Emre

Hard call.

Wigan (*after the points deduction)
Barnsley
Hull City

I may be a sadistic fucker but I know and work with a few Boro fans and seeing them come down would make the next 12 months or so quite fun. Ideas of grandeur that lot.

Yes, old Uncle Knobhead. TBH I don't mind him, the rivalry with him and the role he plays makes these meetings more interesting. He will no doubt give it some in an empty stadium and make out how the place is better without the fans in there. He knows what he does and he does it well. He's a fan of theirs first and foremost, our comedy villain. But you cannot take away the effect he has on the teams he manages. I think over the years the hatred has been replaced with that of professional admiration for his abilities as a manager. I respect him for what he has done in the game, I just wish he didn't have any affiliation with the filth over the other side of the city because it makes me feel dirty saying that!

It'll be who scores first, again.
If we do I can see them crumbling a bit.
If they score first then I wonder if we'd have the instinct and drive to get back in.

What I do expect is Colin to be fully in the refs ear and them to 'buy' almost every foul they get.
And the time waisting and 'game management' will be atrocious.
Bannan will be isolated when on the ball then get kicked from pillar to post and there'll be a lot of snidey blocking off of Murphy and Harris if they play wide.

And Monk will stand like a statue and we'll run out of ideas or drop to defend our 18 yard box.

Dingles will win, Brentford's bottles gone, they were on fire until it got serious and then when their fate's in their own hands, then they go and get beaten at Stoke of all places. Think Charlton could be in a bit of a pickle, it's almost a shame there's no fans in the ground as it would have been hilarious seeing the Leeds fans reaction to one of their hero's attempting to spoil their title party, suspect there'll be enough outside mind...

I just can't get into this. Just feel 'meh' about the whole thing. I definitely blame the EFL for that. It's them taking an utterly ridiculous amount of time - how many months do they need? - which means we haven't had a clue going into any of the final few games what we actually need from them. It saps the life out of your enthusiasm. (Not that our form after Xmas didn't do that as well.)
Get it over with, then the whole circus can fook right off.
Until next time, anyway. Erm

Nasty, snarly, spiteful, vindictive, bolshy, mardy, teddy throwing, and hiding it all behind that rogueable Yorkshireman routine.

But the pigs have had him and Wilder as fans managing their clubs and fighting tooth and nail for them and the fans react and get on board with it all and there's an us vs everyone else mentality from the 6 year old in the family stand to the manager.
Where's our equivalent?
Where's the manager that stood on the terraces, or played for the club, that unites everyone?
While he was holding court down the sty we went through Wilson, Shreeves (twice) Jewell, Yorath, Turner, Sturrock, and Laws.
