1-2. They're as crap as we are, but like us they're a better team away from home.
Baresi, 20/07/2020 at 14:34

Sadly, all too easily predictable. Absolute shite.

Monk must go. 1 home win in the last 12; 4 wins in the last 23 games. No manager should survive that truly abysmal record.

I ask you will Galway bate Mayo? Not if they have Willie Joe...they haven't a hope of beating Mayo!

It almost seems that you hope that's the case so you can say "I told you so"
CDLF, 22/07/2020 at 21:46

Or we could blindly support our owner for fucking up this Club. Open your eyes and stop celebrating mediocrity.

Its not told you so I am fucking fuming at the lack of management, direction, a plan that we have to endure the end result of as supporters.

We are a shambles and folk defending it are part of the problem.

💬 GM: That was the second half of our season in a nutshell, we had chances we should have done better with that, then the defensive lapse and punished for it #swfc

💬 GM: It’s cutting out the silly mistakes, the resilience to those moments at key times and it has cost us. It’s something that needs addressing and food for thought for sure. You are going to get mistakes but it’s the frequency of them you can’t have #swfc

💬 GM: Liam Shaw has impressed me in the trainings and he deserved his minutes tonight. He needs to carry on as he is doing and we expect him to be another player from our academy with a bright future #swfc

Where was the instruction to stick for a point

I have no idea where the defence went, ok push forward but not to leave the gaps that we did.

Absolute joke and if we get a 9 point deduction then we deserve to go down for that incompetence
mkowl, 22/07/2020 at 21:40

Frankly MK if it's a 12 point deduction the same applies.

Whilst there was some positives to the 3-5-2 formation the whole problem is we just didn't apply ourselves - there are some talented players in that group but the coach, tactics and formations need to reflect what we can do not what we would like to do. A realistic aim should have been to finish 12 point above the 3rd bottom, so in that respect it's a fail.

I don't want relegation but I'd rather get whatever is going to happen over and done with rather then have another season either in limbo or starting with a huge points deduction and another season written off.

I wasn't defending the manager or the team...I was just pointing out your negativity and your apparent enjoyment of it if you are proved right.

That just highlights what a horrible state everything is in. We are looking over our shoulder hoping and praying that the ridiculous charge the EFL have thrown at us doesn’t lead to a relegation causing deduction. If we get a deduction this next week, the club will then spend time fighting it and our ability to recruit will be hindered. If we get nothing (which is what I 100% believe is what will happen), then we have an absolute shambles of a coach who has just put us through the worst run I have seen in my lifetime. 17 points from 69?!?! Jesus Christ.

And that coach could be trusted to rebuild a terrible squad, where you might say that 5 players are good enough for this level. As it stands right now, we need two keepers, two centre halves. A right back and a left back. Two wingers, two central midfield players and three strikers. And we need to offload MORE deadwood. That has to be done by the end of the window and led by a transfer committee and an owner who has vanished.

Sorry all. No deduction this year is a stay of execution. Unless EVERYTHING changes, from boardroom, to academy, to coaching, to commercial, to the playing squad, this side will be a league one side in 15 months time. It’s shambolic that we have slipped like this.

Forget tonight’s football, this is just another game that’s followed a similar pattern to the previous 22. The club is rotten.

Where you are wrong 0% enjoyment, 100% anger

The fucking point is that with a bit of a plan we could easily have been in the play offs

First 23 games 39 points
Second 23 games 17 points

Ultimately I am fed up that our club is a shambles. What should have a line in the sand from the past as turned into an absolute nightmare.

Even if we stay up does anyone have any confidence that our direction will not be downwards.

Its not I told you so more a depressing reality that this outcome was a matter of when not if

In 2020, we have won more games at Loftus Road than we have at Hillsborough

Givens. Stein. Hopkins .Elliott .Unsworth.. Heroes, one and all. Add Simonsen to the growing list

That game sums our season up, feel incredibly sad at the state we are in and hope we can somehow get through it but in all honestly I don't see a solution with Chansiri in charge....it is just pure hope a miracle happens.

Absolutely irrelevant if his heart is in the right place or not, he has shown no signs of learning from mistakes and has alienated us fans, the connection between fan and club is bigger than I have ever known it.

The decision making starts from the top of our club, sets the tone of our whole club and we are a fucking shambles because of it.

Can't even draw a line under this season because the useless c**t has us in court, fuck off 2020.

We will p*ss it

Take the Liam Shaw comment and that could have been from 80% of our games since Boxing Day.

Enough is enough - pack thi snap box Monk and fook off. Plenty of chances have been given. Nothing is going to change in the quick turn round to the new season.

But unfortunately we have the invisible man in charge of the club who has not learned anything from his five years of ownership and is overseeing a huge demise that will take a long time to recover from.
