I'll drink to that! Thumbsup

We must not give opposition teams hope. We have to kill them.

I wonder if tonight will be the first time Colin has been to a game at Hillsborough and not been called "illegitimate" or a "Wanker"?

He'll probably hear me from our House.

So... Without the potential points deductions its 3 from 6 to go down tonight.

Who's going to be in the bottom 3 at 9.30 (ish) tonight?
HoylandOwl, 22/07/2020 at 09:38

Hull
Barnsley
Charlton
Hirsty's 12th Pint, 22/07/2020 at 12:27

I'd go with that.
I don't think Hull or Barnsley will win. I think Luton will. I also think Wigan will and stay up by one point after the deduction.
Although I'd piss myself if Barnsley won tonight and still went down on goal difference.

I have got that right, haven't I ???

After Monks rallying cry I fully expect a resounding 3-0 win tonight.

It'll be who scores first, again.
If we do I can see them crumbling a bit.
If they score first then I wonder if we'd have the instinct and drive to get back in.

What I do expect is Colin to be fully in the refs ear and them to 'buy' almost every foul they get.
And the time waisting and 'game management' will be atrocious.
Bannan will be isolated when on the ball then get kicked from pillar to post and there'll be a lot of snidey blocking off of Murphy and Harris if they play wide.

And Monk will stand like a statue and we'll run out of ideas or drop to defend our 18 yard box.

And there goes my last shred of optimism...

Of course there are cracks, that's how the light gets in.

Dingles will win, Brentford's bottles gone, they were on fire until it got serious and then when their fate's in their own hands, then they go and get beaten at Stoke of all places. Think Charlton could be in a bit of a pickle, it's almost a shame there's no fans in the ground as it would have been hilarious seeing the Leeds fans reaction to one of their hero's attempting to spoil their title party, suspect there'll be enough outside mind...

I just can't get into this. Just feel 'meh' about the whole thing. I definitely blame the EFL for that. It's them taking an utterly ridiculous amount of time - how many months do they need? - which means we haven't had a clue going into any of the final few games what we actually need from them. It saps the life out of your enthusiasm. (Not that our form after Xmas didn't do that as well.)
Get it over with, then the whole circus can fook right off.
Until next time, anyway. Erm

When I feel a bit meh about it, I remember that we could be swapping leagues with Wycombe whilst them lot and dirty L*ds are going to be lording it in the Prem. That gets me a bit more worked up about it.

Of course there are cracks, that's how the light gets in.

Can I just say that I do not and will never have any respect for Warnock. Hate the way his teams play and, despite the media helping him cultivate an image as some sort of likeable rogue, deep down he’s a spiteful, nasty piece of work.

And that’s before you even get to the fact he’s a Blade.
