It’s called life stage and life events.. we all fall out of love or back in love with football, the game, the event, the day out or the weekend away at different times in a season, or over a number of season or even decades!

What problem doesn’t and does help in equal amounts is we get share our frustration and happiness on forum like we never used to. It just amplify every emotion imaginable when it comes to football.

Soon as this EFL thing is settled I can start to look forward to the preseason results in 3 weeks times and possibility of a new bunch of strikers at the club!!

Some good shouts in this thread lately. I must admit I didn't miss going to games since shutdown. And I can't remember the last time I was interested in MOTD. All of which would once have been unthinkable.

We must not give opposition teams hope. We have to kill them.

I enjoyed the restart initially, it gave me a new interest in footy... With all the games on TV etc.. But that soon waned and I forgot games were being played, especially in the Prem.

Absolutely not.

As you say, unless the game in general goes udders up, then it won't change drastically.

I do think there's going to be more of a change lower down the pyramid, there has to be to avoid another Bury happening.

Whenever you enjoyed it most as a Wednesday fan is your decision, it doesn't make you right or anyone else wrong. Its subjective. I can't agree or disagree with you on it because (despite what some twats in here think Im not old enough to Bigsmile)

Not so long ago, I got caught up in wanting to know all about the ins and outs of our club but it drove me bonkers. My step away from watching us due to work probably came at the right time, as I was losing faith and walking away was VERY close.

I can envisage Leagues 1 & 2 being semi professional very soon.
