Yellow Card

#16 24/07/2020 at 01:16

I remember reading in the paper back then, back when the papers were still made of paper, that the day before the Italian team was due to arrive back in Rome, having been beaten by North Korea, you couldn't find a tomato to buy within 50km of the airport.

Pinch

We must not give opposition teams hope. We have to kill them.

Fetcher, Iorfa came close, but he does have those dodgy moments some times.

How can anyone vote for a player that decided to fuck off instead of extending their contract by three games.

I went for Murphy mainly for his post lockdown efforts. Fletcher would’ve been a shoe-in other than the reasons given by almost every poster on this thread.

Went for Sam Hutchinson.

If he won it he wouldn't bother turning up to be presented with it. He snubbed the Wise Old Owls twice after they voted him player of the year last season.
That's how much he thinks about our supporters.

Very easily. He was IMHO the best player this season, and that's all I based giving my vote on.

If anything, given he'd got injured again immediately before his contract ran out, he saved us paying him £100,000+ to sit in the stand.

I ask you will Galway bate Mayo? Not if they have Willie Joe...they haven't a hope of beating Mayo!

I presume by that logic you would be more likely to vote for Da Cruz over Fletcher, as he did extend his stay.

My vote is based on performances for SWFC this season, not any notion of loyalty, as that doesn't exist in football, money is king.

I'll never buy from AXA again!

Yeah, I'll lobby the Vatican for his beatification.

I don't think that's required, but if it makes you feel better go ahead - knock yourself out. Just try and spell Wednesday properly for once in your letter.

Morgan Fox 100%

Might have gone Fletcher but for him “pulling his hamstring” to avoid having to say no to playing in the post lockdown run-in.
