How do they pick the 30%?
Southy_SWFC, 24/07/2020 at 17:39

Do you think we'll find 30%?

Don't we have more than 10,000 season ticket holders these days? I assumed we still had somewhere between 12-15,000, even with how shite we are.

It's how many have purchased already before the first deadline.

They will be let in first I would imagine.

"Obese diabetic and elderly fans may be banned from attending matches at restart in September" according to the Telegraph

I think they meanany one of those three, not just a fan who is obese diabetic and elderly
Andyben, 24/07/2020 at 16:37

Haven't looked at that article but I would hope it's only type two diabetics who will be banned. Type one is much lower risk.

A blanket ban on all diabetics would only serve to highlight the ignorance on show from those in charge.

Ditto with old gits. Thumbsup

We must not give opposition teams hope. We have to kill them.

I suppose the 25 per cent capacity is 3 seats between fans per row with person behind or infront sat in middle seat in gap if you follow me.

Does this mean 2,3 or more from same household need to sit apart?

Logistical nightmare in all honesty

OK once you're sat but what about how you squeeze down the row first? (And I ask that as one of the more modestly proportioned chaps.) Erm

And as for going for several pees per game... Pinch (Though we may not be in the pub first anymore.) Hm

And as for the recently introduced total farce of trying to get out of the stadium on the same day... Grr

We must not give opposition teams hope. We have to kill them.

So this 30% is that before or after SAG have applied their logic to anything Hillsborough related! Grr

Max capacity should be 10,000 if 25% so SAG will probably allow 5,000. If only there were 5,000 wanting to go Laugh

SYP will have to social distance with the after match Penistone Road crowd control.

Fuck 'em. This city will always be ours.

Luckily I haven't renewed so won't get in Bigsmile

Presume at that stage they will still permit access on Ifollow. The benefit of that is my annoyance at how shit we are won't cause me to drive 90mph down the M1

Happy clapping for 4 years more than Emre

Seriously, the whole thing will be farcical if they try to implement any of the above logical extensions to the rules and will have changed the match day experience to such an extent that most people will not be bothered about going.
Clubs cannot continue to absorb huge losses of crowd income either so something will have to give.
There are already signs that the rules are breaking down with shops declaring that they won't enforce face mask rules and you only have to go for a drive to realise traffic is almost back up to pre-lockdown levels.
It's impossible to social distance in a stadium so they need to think again.
