An incredible seventh red card of the season. It was Borner’s turn to get his marching orders today v Reading. It was a double whammy punishment of course, so there’s three points for his sending off, and two points for conceding the penalty. It puts him two points clear at the top.

One point for Palmer for his pushing bout v Huddersfield, and three for Paterson for his own goal.

Our season might be petering out into a lacklustre relegation, but the AH award is where all the excitement is. Three points separate eight players - it’s up for grabs.

I don’t have them all, but Hutchinson won it in 16-17 with 25 points. I’m pretty sure that’s not been bettered.

A very unusual three game spell with no AH points was broken today v Bristol City.

Hutchinson got an early yellow card, but in terms of the title Bannan’s missed penalty takes on more importance. It puts him just one point shy of leader Borner as we head into the last four games of the season.
With just a single point separating the top three we’re in for an exciting finish.

Yellows for Hutch and Bannan v Blackburn. Bannan’s mouthing at the ref on 80 minutes moves him alongside Borner at the top.
At the moment I just have alphabetic order separating players on the same points but the competition rule is actually that the least number of appearances takes the place in the event of a tie.
