In our situation we need an experienced old skool manager so that rules out the likes of Lowe & Cowleys

Pearson, McCarthy or Megson is where we should be looking in my opinion

Maybe not needed though if Monk showed some adaptability
bartos1976, 26/10/2020 at 11:08

That is my problem I don't think he can

We have had 12 months plus of this awful approach to games, team selections and tactics

I can accept a partial one hand behind his back but that did not hamper how we play or how we set up formation wise.

Its long ball shite

Happy clapping for 4 years more than Emre

Personally don’t care on the approach to games if it gets results but to stick with 352 and playing wing backs at CB is beyond stupid

I think DC will go back to Carlos if he sacks Monnk, and to be honest it's not the worst idea.

One thing noticeable is that there seems to be an invisible hand at work between the playing side and the Owner/admin side that has seriously affected the main focus. and the love of the fans, ie, what is played on the pitch. Carlos appeared not to be happy with some of the players brought in,particularly loanees whom he rarely played. Is this the reason that managers such as Hughton would not entertain us and Bruce couldn't get away quick enough despite moving for a vast reduction in salary.

Fuck 'em. This city will always be ours.

Paul Cook
Ryan Lowe
Mark Robins

Or if you want a leftfield foreign appointment then I'd look at Lars Friis.
Currently part of a managerial double with David Nielsen at Aarhus in Denmark. If we could get both then that would be a bonus.
Was part of the original Brentford moneyball set up when brought over as an 'individual' coach and head scout. Before that he was managing the Brentford owner's other club Midtjylland. when Brentford scrapped their academy he set up and managed the B team and took them round Europe playing the u21/19 teams of the top teams. Responsible for bringing on the home grown transfer machine that transitioned from the B team to the first. Chris Mepham and Joe Hardy are noteable and Rico Henry came out of the B team as well.

Strange how nobody mentions Vic Buckingham as a good manager. Played some great football under him.

I don't think most of us can really comment TC6 - far too young
