I care, doesn't mean I'd be any good at running SWFC though. But if I had DC's money I'd employ someone who could.

Is this due to DC being too controlling or they could see what was coming.....

Makes me wonder why Bruce was so quick to jump ship

From the start the people who worked there behind the scenes started thinking about leaving.

One guy I knew at the time worked in the exec boxes and wasn't happy DC put the prices up for them. Leaving them mostly empty.

One of the guys who has now left says Chansiri couldn't believe that people only work 9 till 5 and that everyone should follow him working all hours.

More money, 'his club' etc etc. I don't think THAT departure was anything else.

Bruce had several chances to manage Toon. He couldn't get out fast enough

Perhaps someone can tell me how many times Bruce has walked compared with sackings? I've lost count of clubs he's had.

He probably has, too.

We must not give opposition teams hope. We have to kill them.

So nearly 24 hours later and I am still fuming. I can't remember the last time a performance had this sort of effect on me.

I've been watching us since about 1972 so there's been a fair amount of dross during that time; but right now I think last night's performance ranks right up there as one of the worst.

I think it's the context, other times when we've been shit we've known it was a shit team. This group of players should be good enough to be comfortably in mid table, even with the points deduction. It seems an age ago but it's not yet a fortnight since we controlled the game at Birmingham.

OH, and Rotherham are proper shit too.

Tell mi mam, mi mam, I don't want no tea, no tea, I'm watching the Wednesday, tell mi mam, mi mam

The government are taking samples of Dawson's blood in an attempt to cure Covid19 as it's plainly obvious he can't catch anything.

Warne isn't afraid to match his team up, tactics and formation, to optimise what limited resources he has against the opposition.
They can't pay more than £10k a week but anyone who's watched them this season will tell you there's a togetherness and they make their limited ability work. They've pushed every team they've played and not rolled over in any loss.
If they have a relatively injury free season then they'll be comfortably safe

That's just being normal as a coach/manager.
When was the last time we changed formation/shape/tactics in a game.

Chatted to my 75yr old Dad tonight and we both agreed that it's now fucked. I know it's 3 games back but ODUBAJO agiainst brentford.. Firstly in a back 3,secondly matching up on Toney at corners. Fuck me I played park football and you always 'matched up' at corners.

Monk played at the back FFS.

The issue is not simply the results (though if we played well and still lost we wouldn't be happy) its the manner of the performances

It is interesting that Bruce is getting stick for his anti football approach in the Premier League - perhaps we dodged a bullet - but Monk absolutely is the same.

It is interesting referring back to that Arsenal game, though I missed that, even i can concede that Carlos got us playing some decent stuff to watch that season. That is such a rare season in the last 24 to enjoy the style of football on display.

Once you couple bad results, insipid tactics and players being incompetent then its hardly a surprise there is anger, to which I add the utter shambles off the pitch that has a major influence on who and what goes on the pitch.

Its a vicious circle

Happy clapping for 4 years more than Emre

I just can’t fathom the tactics even a few days later.

It’s almost like he said, I want to turn these around, so I’ll be direct. But, he did that with WING BACKS, and two forwards who aren’t overly mobile and in Marriot, not remotely fit. So all we ended up doing was dropping it on Richard Woods head.

One thing you might not have noticed is what we did from goal kicks, we pushed Aden Flint to the right wing and Dawson aimed it at him. He went of injured and we all of a sudden got stuck. So these points that people make about Monk not having a plan B are 100% true. We go behind in games and at no point do we ever look like recovering. I think we have the worst record when falling behind in all four divisions - which tells a horrible story about the coach and his ability to change things.

I’ll repeat this. Garry Monk is the worst manager Wednesday have had in my lifetime, worse than Jos (who didn’t get any money), worse than the shite we had in the early 2000’s who had to deal with cost cutting and a horrible budget, worse than Eustace.

If he stays in charge, we will be relegated by the end of March.

Monk goes for jobs looking at the pay-off when he inevitably gets the bullet, he doesn't go in looking to use his skills to create a winning team because he just ain't got the skillset to do that.

Career manager looking at lucrative severance payments, he's taking the piss!
