I wouldn't mind just going to Scarborough for a weekend.
Do a bit of the coastal walk to Staithes, few beers, bus back then watch the sea from the balcony at The Sands

That's a good shout Ty. We love Runswick Bay.

Of course there are cracks, that's how the light gets in.

Lockdown Scammers active.
Laid in bed earlier, reading the news on phone, I got a scam call. "HMRC has issued a tax fraud case in your name. Press 1 now to speak to the officer responsible for your case. If you do not press 1 now, you will be arrested immediately."
Nasty vermin. That would cause extreme upset to some folks, not to mention if they actually press it. I hope to report it later. Might be worth having a conversation with any particularly vulnerable relatives. A mate I just mentioned it to had already had it, though a different voice.

We must not give opposition teams hope. We have to kill them.

Heard something similar from one of our neighbours over the weekend.....she got a text and then a phonecall within 15 mins, she didn't reply to the text so the fuckers phoned her!!......as you can imagine it put the poor woman about, her son was up yesterday and he was absolutely seething....and quite right, dread to think what he'd have done if he'd collared the scum.....

The discussion last night on FH turned to vaccines and attending games. Texts and calls from already vaccinated people saying they wouldn't want to sit next to someone that hasn't had the vaccine. 'Why, f you've had a vaccine?' was my thoughts.

Just interested in peoples views on here, do you think that sports venues, concerts and the like should be able to insist on vaccination to gain entry?

Personally, I don't think crowds should be allowed back in stadiums until everyone has had the 2nd jab...if that takes until end of next season, never mind this, then so be it.....sick and tired of lockdowns and restrictions but myself and everyone I know are abiding by em...its the nobheads flouting the rules and forcing us into yet more lockdowns who need to bang their heads together! and.......most of the people shouting the loudest about lockdowns are the gimps putting others at risk in the first place!!!

Let's just get this fucker of a virus under control, for however long it takes..... then we can all do whatever the fuck we want!

Had my 1st last Tuesday at Sheff Arena. Read beforehand about folks getting a few relatively minor, temporary after effects. I had nothing at all shortly after: went straight out for a minor walk as it was a lovely afternoon.
That was a bit worrying as folks say that feeling grotty for a while after vaccination means it's starting to work for you. I had one afternoon only when the last stages of a local walk felt like I was wearing a woolie balaclava on the inside. Got home, sat down and was coincidently awakened by an unrelated phone alarm an hour or two later. I'd been out for the count. Perky and zooming around again next day. Fitness walked 4.5 miles in 90 mins.
Who knows? We're all different. The strangest thing is two mates who separately have queried whether they were actually given a proper jab 'cos they didn't feel it at the time and have had no reaction afterwards. I just told them it's 'cos they're weird.

I felt inwardly as if I had flu symptoms for approx 24 hours of the jab but body temperature was normal and outer body was ok. One of the "medical experts" stated it was fine because it shows that your immune system is working.
Personally, I think the summer pop festivals should not be held until all age groups have been offered the vaccine. After that I believe it should be up to each company, including individual football clubs, as to whether to allow non vaccinated people to attend. I have noticed several people who have openly declined the vaccine have been the very same people who have blatantly and regularly broken lock down rules.

Fuck 'em. This city will always be ours, but the club SADLY won't.

I can't wait for this shit to end.
The last 12 months have been shite for a whole host of reasons.

Just glad people are getting the vaccine and numbers of deaths are dropping.
