Anyone else hear "Allardyce's throw" in the commentary? No surprise it was a long throw!

Of course there are cracks, that's how the light gets in.

Salute

Players like him were not trusted to play for England In the 70's, no wonder England did fuck all in that decade.

RIP

Worthington, Bowles, Marsh and others I can’t remember through to Le tissier, we weren’t keen on the technically gifted. Probably Gazza would have been overlooked back then.

Currie comes into that category despite the pork connection.

Fuck 'em. This city will always be ours, but the club SADLY won't.

Met Frank at a " Gentlemans Sports Dinner " many years ago . He was one of the speakers , arrived late with 2 stunning women ( though it was all male ) on his arm . Then stole the show with his stories , a real class act
RIP Frank

Once saw Duncan speaking at a Gentlemans Evening - very very good.

As an aside Frank Worthington was one of the worst I have seen.

RIP Duncan and Frank.

Sorry, just realised Duncan McKenzie is not dead but added to the list of flair players not to play for England.

Couldn't he also throw a golfball from one stand to the other across the full length of the pitch?

edit: or was that Asa Hartford? The bloke with the apt surname iirc
