Diversity boxes ticked and he enters the role just as the football world, and the charity commission are about to rip bits out of the organisation.
Taylor knew what he was doing leaving now

Not enough diversity boxes ticked - Should have been a one legged lesbian that runs an animal sanctuary

Maybe, just maybe, an ex-professional footballer, ex lawyer and ex chief executive of a professional football club was hired because he was the outstanding candidate rather than because of diversity?

That's fantastic if true, we need more of it as well.

Yep, CV certainly reads well.

Of course there are cracks, that's how the light gets in.

His cv is fantastic and there's no denying what he's achieved in the past but whoever took over from Taylor is drinking from a poisoned chalice and his appointment may have had a touch of The politicals
The charity commission are already investigating financial mismanagement of that arm of the PFA.
Tax man is next in line over possible irregularities regarding investments.
Then there's a couple of grievances, from women footballers, regarding misrepresentation and lack of financial assistance
