Interestingly their ground is listed as an asset of community value...which has made absolutely no difference to the sale or what happens to the ground

Why would it? Folk really don't understand what implications an ACV listing means.

It gives the 'community' 6 months to put together a proposal to buy the asset before someone else can buy it.

Put Hillsborough up for sale and watch the Trust put their committee and sub committee plans in to action as they find the best way to tell their members that the pot they all piss in wouldn't be sufficient to buy the padlock on the players entrance.

The trust were painting Birmingham as the perfect model for DC copy .. looks like they are copying DC.

That was kinda my point, they've gone to all that trouble so they just sold the company that owns the ground instead...

If you read through the sale and purchase agreement the stadium itself is valued at 20m.

The consideration paid of 10m for the shares is net of debt it would appear.

Says they will use 8m to repay external debt and 2m for working capital.

This is always the risk with our set up. The shares in Sheffield 3 Limited get acquired by an investment company on the strength of the lease for use of Hillsborough

Happy clapping for 4 years more than Emre

Brentford lost £9.1 million...the combined £48 million they've received for Watkins and Benrahma isn't included in that year's figures.

I ask you will Galway bate Mayo? Not if they have Willie Joe...they haven't a hope of beating Mayo!
