In the world of modern media Tommy, its something that generally generates a lot of interaction and engagement on social media.

And, despite us being turd for the most of the season on the field, it's still a means to bring the players 'closer' to the fans getting behind the scenes.

He's right though. All season we've been good in training, committed to getting it right, determined to improve, ight behind the gaffer, blah, blah, fucking blah.

It was more on the point about who gives a shit about training.

But yeah, they're just platitudes in terms of comments about how good it's been. Although you'll never get any manager talking to the media saying its shit, pointless etc etc.

So who really believes that many of this lot will be here next season, no me neither and if we're thinking that you can be sure they are.

I'd be surprised if Windass and Bannan will still be here and that might apply to Dunkley and Green. As for those out of contract seeya.

If I could keep Dunkley, I would, he needs to repay the clubs faith in him and be the leader to get us out of L1.

Bannan and Lees should be able to get a Championship club as should Windass.

It's a complete rebuild. The worry is the latest news on DM, it sounds serious - pneumonia and blood clots could take months to recover from which is going to make the closed season a real problem. He's potentially the guy that can get young PL and Championship players to sign up because of his playing career and what he was starting to develop at Donny. So if he's laid up we need a plan to support him and the recruitment which doesn't rely on our favourite blood sucking Agent.

I think the keepers is a dilemma for next season. Dawson and Wildsmith should (I say should) be good enough but would you push the boat out a bit and keep Westy. I can't imagine Westwood will get loads of offer but another season on reduced terms might be worth a punt.

Lots of decisions to be made, but as I say I'm worried for DM first but also 2nd for our club and the preparation for L1.

Sounds like Moore is still involved whilst laid up, as long as he doesn’t get any worse he’ll be conducting the recruitment I’m sure.

Sorry Terry, I'm with the mad old racist on this.

The only engagement I'd like to be part of is my size 9.5s and their fucking arses, or in some cases necks.

So, the club shouldn't do any of it then???

But then get called out for the media dept doing fuck all?
Which has happened before. Plenty of times.

Can't win then can they (and yes, I realise the irony in that)

I have no objection to this sort of thing, I give it a cursory glance at best.

I can understand the other comments that it gives a sanitised version of the world, that the reality of what we see on the pitch is very different to the one portrayed at the training ground

But that is the constraint of working in football media for a club, you have to be the mouthpiece. Its like the poor buggers on SSN having to portray women's football as worth watching

Happy clapping for 4 years more than Emre
