Marriott Becomes An Owl

Derby County striker Jack Marriott has this morning been confirmed as the latest addition to the Wednesday squad after signing a loan deal from Derby County.

The former Luton Town and Peterborough United striker has joined The Owls on a season long loan from The Rams.

The 26-year-old striker cites Ipswich, Woking, Gillingham, Carlisle and Colchester before he arguably first made his name as a true goalscorer following his move to Luton Town. Whilst at Kenilworth Road he scored 28 goals in 91 appearances for the Hatters, which then brought on a move to Peterborough United.

The goalscoring continued at Peterborough, as Jack netted 33 goals in 56 games before attracting interest from the Rams who he joined in the summer of 2018.

He's since bagged himself 17 goals in all competitions for his parent club in just over 80 appearances (In subs) before making the move to Hillsborough.

Welcome to The Owls, Jack.
