What a ball by Hazlewood, he's got Brook (7) caught behind by Carey.

England on the back foot here a bit losing 2 wickets for just 9 runs.

Bairstow walks out to the middle to join Root - need these 2 to calm things down a bit & put on a decent partnership.

England 222/4 - 41 overs.

Lead by 210 runs.

Partnership worth 43 runs so far Mal!

Yeah, not knocking it pal.

It just seemed to me that whenever these two are together, you have wrote something like that, i thought it was funny 😄

2nd Test

10 & 18

3rd Test

19 & 21

4th Test

84 & DNB

5th Test

5 & 69*

Stuart Broad has announced he will retire from cricket after the 5th Ashes test against Australia.

One of Englands greatest test bowlers, he will be massively missed & even harder to replace.

Let's hope England can go out on a high & beat Australia in his last ever game.

Thank you for the memories Broady.

Lovely touch by Australia to give Stuart Broad a guard of honour before the start of play.

England 395 all out.

Anderson the last man out - LBW to Murphy who finished with 4/110.

Australia require 383 runs to win the 5th & final ashes test to win the series 3-1 or can England bowl the Aussies out & tie the series 2-2.....

Just seen the Stokes drop, he's caught it, goes to celebrate but hits his knee & the ball pops out - the right decision for me but dropping a guy of Smith's quality on 39 will always hurt you.

Its currently rain stopped play & Australia are

238/3 - 60 overs

Smith 40*

Head 31*

Australia require 161 runs to win.....

294/8

Cummins went for 9 caught by Stokes off the bowling of Ali....

329/9

Then Broad had Murphy (18) caught behind after a beaut of a delivery by Bairstow.....

Last man Hazlewood has joined Carey in the middle.

Australia 334/9 - require 50 runs to win.

England need 1 wicket.....
