Yeah I know they didn’t have the same quality on show but still we beat em. The parallel 'achievements' go back a little longer... 2023/24 - both sitting bottom of their respective leagues. 2022/23 - both promoted. 2021/22 - both lost in play-off semi finals. 2020/21 - both relegated. Interesting (or perhaps not) that their 8-0 defeat to Newcastle was almost 24 years to the day since our one. A Sunday afternoon, albeit one week of a difference.
