Ozzie
Unlucky loss again under Gareth in his waistcoat. Another wasted group of talent with a boring wank manager. Laughable that he's touted as next Man Utd manager. When he finally does fuck off from England, can only see him getting a job with Palace, if he's lucky

KrolMong
I have no issues with those who have missed out, with the exception of Eric Dier and Dominic Solanke who should make the 33 ahead of Ivan Toney and Quansaah. Dier should get in the 26. But, on who has got in. Shaw is crocked which means that it’s Trippier or Gomez at left back. We have got a massive problem at left back now. I don’t have any issue with the central midfield players who are in the 33. Especially as those who are listed as attackers can play in there (Bellingham, Maddison etc). Have we got any centre half in any sort of form at all? Stones can’t get in the City team. The rest are horribly out of form. As I see it now, our only way to have any chance of getting far is by being firmly on the front foot, a good side with a spell of pressure will score against us. But the rate he’s progressing and if he has a good first prem season, he’s got a real chance to taking that spot. The other one is Alfie Doughty at Luton, especially if he gets a move this summer. Guest
I can’t understand picking a squad of 33 and not including any specialist left back cover. Luke Shaw does not sound as though he will be fit and even if he does make it, he will be well short of match practice. I would have selected one of Tyrick Mitchell or Rico Lewis over Gomez / Quansah. Hope Branthwaite is given a chance in run up. He looks the best of the newer centre backs. Theman
So, I reckon there are 3 starting places up for grabs, Pickford, Walker, Stones, Rice, Bellingham, Foden, Saka and Kane certain starters, defence worries me and is probably the reason we won’t win it, reckon the missing three will be Maguire, Mainoo and Trippier Edited May 21 by Theman
Andyben
Wouldn't be that surprised to see sakha at LWB - but effectively as a full blown winger in one of the friendlies.

Either way Foden will be stuck out wide again.

mkowl
Out of interest potentially the date of the General Election is quite canny here. Just after the round of 16 so be banking on England getting thru, probably hoping Scotland are out and they will all be grumpy and blame the SNP Quarter finals on the Friday and Saturday so when Southgate fucks up it won't have an impact. Tylluan
Why does Pickford start? It's not like Southgate doesn't know what he can do and it's not like Pickford hasn't had the practice while he's played for Everton. Only thing I can think of is Southgate knows his preferred centre halves are both crocked so he's got to see how Pickford handles the reserve line as they might be the ones starting Edited June 3 by Tylluan

Ozzie
Dunt matter. With Southgate in charge we're doing nowt. Another talented squad wasted. All the time he's had to build and he is still scratching his arse. Be another "we were robbed" again when we come up against a decent side when we pluckily lose, when everyone else apart from Mr Tickbox can see the game is there for the taking
